Jewish community leaders of Rate bade farewell today to Abe Loskove, Joint Distribution Committee country director, who has been transferred to Morocco.
Among those who paid tribute to Mr. Loskove’s services in Italy were Chief Rabbi Elio Toaff, and Professor Fausto Pitigliano, president of the Rome Jewish community. Mr. Loskove will be succeeded in Italy by Henry Kirsch, who served the JDC in Morocco.
