Jewish Community of Britain Mourns

The Jewish community of Britain was today completing preparations for a period of mourning in memory of Dr. Chaim Weismann. The Board of Deputies of British Jews, the Zionist Federation and other Jewish organizations sent messages of condolence to the Government of Israel and the family of the late President. The Jewish Agency office here issued a statement expressing the sense of loss felt at the passing of the ” greatest Jewish political figure of our generation.”
