The Club of Jewish Deputies in the Polish Parliament is opposed to the bill aiming to introduce changes in the Constitution of the country, Deputy Isaac Gruenbaum declared during the discussion of the bill.

The bill has the support of the progovernment bloc. Dr. Leon Reich, representative of the Jewish deputies from Galicia, also opposed the bill, which, he stated, would suppress individual initiative. He expressed the hope that the fight over the constitutional amendment will be a fight of ideas and not of physical force.
