Jewish emigration from Poland, which had almost completely ceased in the last few months, has now recommenced, the Yiddish daily, “Nayer Haint” here, reports.
People have felt for a long time, it says, that there was no place to which to emigrate, and there was also no money for travelling. The Podlischewski Emigrants’ Hostel was deserted. Now it is again full of life and movement, and additional accommodations has to be provided to find room for all the intending emigrants passing through Warsaw.
Most of the emigrants are proceeding to Uruguay, Brazil, or the Argentine, and in most cases they are parents going to join their children, or wives and children going to join their husbands and fathers.
