Jewish Football Player Killed in Lithuania Game

A deplorable incident occurred in the city of Jurburg. Lithuania, in the course of a football match between the Maccabees, a Jewish team, and a team representing the Lithuanian Football Club.

During the match Moses Hesskowicz, one of the Jewish players was killed. He was 19 years of age.

The incident caused great excitement in the town. The player responsible for his death was not arrested.
