Jewish Groups Dissolved in 2 Polish Cities

The authorities today dissolved the Jewish Community Council in Wilno and in Radom.

In Wilno new elections to the Community Council were ordered by the authorities. In Radom, a temporary board of nine Jews has been appointed to conduct the affairs of the Jewish community, and Joseph Beckerman, a former judge, has been named by the authorities president of the Community.

The Nasz Prezegland, a Jewish daily newspaper published in the Polish language in Warsaw, was confiscated by the authorities today for an article on the anti-Jewish riots in Grodno.

A resolution urging a fight on the anti-Semitic efforts of the majority of the National Democratic Party in the Lodz Municipal Council was adopted today by the Federation of Trade Unions which is supporting the present government. A similar resolution was adopted a few days ago by the Polish Socialist Trade Unions.
