Jewish groups expressed cautious optimism about a cease-fire in Darfur, Sudan. New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, working at the behest of Save Darfur, an interfaith coalition spurred by the Jewish community, on Wednesday obtained Sudan’s agreement to a 60-day cease-fire to culminate in a March 15 peace summit.
