Representatives of Jewish organizations conferring with British authorities over the future of displaced Jews in the British zone of Germany have requested that the Prime Minister of Hesse, Christian Stock, prepare by April 5 a plan for the inclusion of the Jewish DP’s in the German economy, it was learned here today.

The Jewish demand is that the plan–to be put into effect by the end of June–accord the same rights and privileges to the DP Jews as are enjoyed by the German population. It is estimated that some 5,000 Jews will remain in Hesse. Present at the conference are representatives of the British Foreign and War Offices, the occupation authorities, the World Jewish Congress and the Jewish Central Committee of the British zone.
