M. Friedman-Loubovitzki, a judge of the Glivitze district court, was shot and killed by a member of the local police, it was reported here today. The policeman who shot the judge in a public park in Glivitze is under arrest.
Edouard Lonkovsky, a Pole who worked for the Gestapo during the Nazi occupation of Poland, and who specialized in hunting down Jews, was hanged in Ostrouv following a denial of clemency by the President of the Polish Republic. Three Polish writers and actors who collaborated in the making of Nazi anti-Jewish films in Poland during the occupation have been sentenced to five and ten years imprisonment.
