The Central Committee of the Palestine Railwaymen’s Association in which both Jewish and Arab workers are organized, has brought up a resolution in favor of the word “Jewish” being dropped from the name of the General Jewish Labor Federation of Palestine. The resolution demands that a keen effort should be made to bring the Arab workers into the Federation in larger numbers, and to conduct the Jewish cooperative work in agriculture and industry through a separate Jewish organization.
