An appeal to stop the bloodshed caused by the Communist agitation was issued by the Jewish Labor Party, Bund.

The riots began last week when the communists discovered that there representation at a Jewish labor conference here was inadequate. The manifesto of the Bund calls the workers to “defense against the provocators and bandits and to save the Jewish labor movement.”
