Abraham Shapiro, well-known leader of Petach Tikvah, the oldest Jewish settlement in Palestine, today was called as a witness in a two-year-old land dispute between the Moslem Wakf and private Moslem landowners. Mr. Shapiro testified in favor of the Wakf. The Arab press while praising Mr. Shapiro criticises the Moslems as being “blinded by partisanship.”
