Jewish leaders are blasting comments by House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-Texas) that liberal Jews have a “shallow, superficial intellect.” Speaking last Friday at a campaign forum on Middle East issues in Florida for congressional candidate Katherine Harris, Armey was asked why the U.S. Jewish community is so divided between liberals and conservatives.
