Jewish Leaders Bid Adieu to Plumer

Farewell wishes of the Jewish population of Palestine were expressed to Lord Plumer, retiring High Commissioner, by a delegation consisting of Colonel Frederick H. Kish, Rabbis A. J. Kook and Jacob Meir, David Yellin and Dr. J. Thon.

The delegation presented the retiring High Commissioner with an album of Palestine pictures, wishing him bon voyage in behalf of the Zionist Executive, the Palestine Rabbinate and the Vaad Leumi, the National Council of Palestine Jews.

Lord Plumer expressed his satisfaction with his three years of work in Palestine and his joy at the fact that peace prevails in the country.
