In a violent attack on “Zionist rottenness,” Unirea, organ of the Jewish Democratic Committee of Rumania, today denounced alleged Zionist activities at a former ORT school here. The publication listed the names of six students and two teachers whom it holds responsible for the Zionist propaganda.
The publication also denounced lack of vigilance on the part of a commission responsible for the screening of pupils admitted to the school. It concluded that “only those who can be useful to the upbuilding of socialism should be admitted to the school.”
