Jewish National Fund Flag Day, to be called officially the Festival of the Blue-White Emblem, will be observed Sunday evening, Dec. 10, by hundreds of Jewish communities throughout the nation. The celebration will commemorate the victory of the Maccabees over the Greeks more than 2,000 years ago. More than 340,000 dunams of land in Palestine have been acquired as Jewish national property since the Keren Kayemeth, the Jewish national fund, initiated its activities thirty-two years ago.
