Jewish organizations in Moscow beefed up security measures after hundreds of Muscovites were taken hostage by Chechen rebels. About 50 heavily armed Chechens, many of them women believed to be widows of Chechen fighters killed during an ongoing war with Russia, stormed a Moscow theater Wednesday night and took an audience of several hundred people hostage.
