Jewish Peoples Committee Plans Fund for Refugees

The Jewish Peoples Committee announced today that its executive committee had decided to launch a peoples relief emergency committee to aid German refugees. The campaign will be supervised by a committee of 100. The Committee also plans to call a national emergency conference in Washington on Jan. 15 and 16 to organize a campaign for an embargo on German goods, for liberalization of the interpretation of immigration laws and for a conference of the United States, England, France and the soviet Union on the refugee problem.
