Jewish Physician Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Egypt As ‘spy’

Dr. Fritz Katz, director of the Jewish Hospital of Alexandria, Egypt, was convicted by a court there recently as a “spy,” and sentenced to life imprisonment, according to an authoritative report received here today. Dr. Katz, a Jew, cane to Egypt shortly before World War II, as a refugee from Nazi Germany.
