The aid given them by the Joint Distribution Committee during long months of internment in refugee camps in Switzerland and in North Africa was lauded here today by the 500 Jewish refugees who arrived in Haifa last night. The transportation of these refugees to Palestine was also financed by the Joint Distribution Committee.
Arab newspapers carry long articles on the activities of the Institute of Arab-American Affairs and on the pro-Arab propaganda which is now being conducted by the Institute in connection with the visit of Abdul Ilah, Prince Regent of Iraq, to the United States. They also report in great detail the reception given to the Prince legent by the Oriental faculty of Princeton University.
