The honorary degree of Doctor of Letters was conferred upon Claude Montefiore by Oxford University today.
Professor Richard Willstatte of Munich University, winner of the Nobel prize, received the degree of Doctor of Science. Degrees were also conferred on Lord Allenby and Field Marshal Foch.
