The twenty-fifth anniversary of the attack on the Jewish workers of Bialystok in 1905 by armed bands of Cossacks was commemorated today by the Jewish Socialists of Bialystok who organized an impressive procession through the same streets in which 70 Jews were killed and several score seriously injured. Carrying wreaths the Jewish Socialists proceeded to the cemetery where the murdered Jews are buried. Speeches recalling the heroism of the fallen Jewish victims of the Cossacks’ fury were delivered.
