Several Jewish students were injured when anti-Semitic students met in the Anatomical Institute of the Warsaw University after a street demonstration and expelled all of the Jewish students. The students set up a sign in front of the Institute building reading, “entrance to Jews forbidden.” They shouted “down with the Jews” and demanded numerus clausus, declaring that the universities are only for Poles.
Watching the rioting students, Dr. Loth, head of the institute, laughed, but later closed the institute because the Polish students insisted that their Jewish classmates be expelled until more Jewish corpses were furnished. During the trouble a number of Jewish passers-by were struck by flying missiles.
In the meantime Jewish students have been expelled from the government school of dentistry.
