Jewish support for President Bush in Tuesday’s election was up modestly from from the 19 percent of the Jewish vote he scored in 2000, according to exit polls. One poll showed Jews supporting the Democratic candidate, Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, by 77 percent to 23 percent, while another showed Kerry winning 76 percent to Bush’s 24 percent.
