Dr. Rosa Welt Strauss, president of the Palestine Jewish Women’s Rights Association, delivered an address before the International Association for Women’s Rights held here. Dr. Strauss emphasized the necessity for legislation in Palestine for a minimum marriageable age for girls.

HOOVER ADDRESS IN N. J. POSTPONED DUE TO HOLIDAYS

E. Rertram Mott, Chairman of the New Jersey Republican State Committee, announced in Morristown. N. J. that the visit to New Jersey of Herbert Hoover Republican Presidential candidate, has been postponed from Sept. 14 to Sept. 17, states the Associated Press.

Mr. Mott explained that two Jewish holidays fell on the 14th and 15th and the Jewish leaders had asked him to postpone the nominee’s appearance if possible.
