Reports reaching here state that preparations are under way in Rumania for a series of anti-Jewish trials and for launching of a nationwide anti-Sem itic campaign.

The Free Rumanians Committee here reports that the Zionist leaders arrested two years ago in Rumania–and about whom no word has been heard in many months will be brought to trial in the near future. The detained Jewish leaders include A.L. Zissu, L. Itcar, B. Rohrlich, Dr. C. Iancu, Dr. I. Rosman, T. Lowenstein and L. Kirschen.

One of the witnesses scheduled to appear for the prosecution, it is reported, will be Zalman Rabinsohn, brother of Ana Pauker, former Rumanian Foreign Minister. A separate trial for Ana Pauker is said to be planned.
