Jewish Vendors Driven from Dessau Market

All Jewish vendors in Dessau, Prussia, on the Elbe River, have been driven from the marketplaces, where they had traded freely for many years. The Dessau municipality issued a statement, after complaints were made, that “Jews should be thankful they still are permitted to remain in Germany altogether.”
