The Jewish Welfare Fund which undertook to raise $540,000 this year as compared with the $255,000 raised last year, has already exceeded its goal by about $55,000, it was announced today by Edward M. Kahn, executive secretary. With reports still to come in, the Welfare Fund has received close to $595,000, the announcement said.
