Queen Juliana of the Netherlands has appointed Dr. Anna Minkenhof, the Jewish solicitor general of the High Court of Appeal at Amsterdam, as the first woman solicitor general of the High Court of Holland. Dr. Minkenhof was also the first woman to hold the Amsterdam post.
