More than 1, 000, 000 Jewish women in all parts of the nation, acting through the Conference Committee of National Jewish Women’s Organizations, today protested the U.S. Government’s plans to send arms to the Arab states, pointing out that military aid to these states under present circumstances “will not contribute to peace and stability. “

A. resolution to this effect was sent to President Eisenhower, Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, and to the chairmen of the Senate and House Foreign Relations Committees. The Conference Committee represents the members of 11 national Jewish women’s organizations.
