A resolution “to bring about the cooperation of the nations of the world for the reduction of armament” was adopted at the third annual conference of the Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations held at the Hotel Astor Wednesday.
Miss Fannie Hurst, Rabbi Samuel Schulman, Mrs. Nathan Glauber of the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, Mrs. Wm. D. Sporborg of the Council of Jewish Women, Mrs. Max S. Spiegel of the United Synagogue were among the speakers.
The Federation represents sixty affiliated societies with a combined membership of thirty thousand.
