Professor Albert Einstein, co-founder of the Committee for Free Speech, has joined with leading scholars and writers in Germany in a petition to the German people to maintain Democratic principles in the country.

Other Jews who signed the petition are George Bernhard, Arnold Zweig, Alfred Kerr and Dr. Lion Feuchtwanger, who like Professor Einstein, is now on a visit to the United States.
