Jewish youths rampaged in a Palestinian neighborhood in Hebron.

About 40 teens smashed windows in private homes and slashed tires Tuesday night. They also are accused of spray-painting a Jewish star on a Palestinian home.

Jewish vandals also rioted in Hebron last week, spraying graffiti on Palestinian graves and on the walls of an area mosque.

No arrests were made in Tuesday night’s attack. Police are investigating, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Labor Party lawmaker Ophir Paz-Pines, the chairman of the Knesset Interior Committee, said the army and police should respond to the crimes immediately.

“This is an additional crossing of a red line by organized, dangerous thugs and it must be responded to with the utmost seriousness and gravity,” Paz-Pines was quoted as saying by the Post. “The police must immediately initiate a thorough investigation and start a series of arrests in order to put an end to the Wild West in Hebron, and to establish without hesitation the rule of law.”
