O. E. d’Avigdor Goldsmid, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews and chairman of the Council of the Jewish Agency, today deplored the death of Dr. Lee K. Frankel, who died suddenly in Paris Saturday night. Dr. Frankel had been elected joint chairman of the Council at the same time that Mr. Goldsmid was chosen chairman.

“I deeply deplore the loss of a highly valued colleague who throughout life rendered great and distinguished service to American and world Jewry,” Mr. Goldsmid said.
