Jews are virtually ignored in Hungarian textbooks, according to a new study. They appear first as the source of Christianity then “completely disappear for 2,000 years” before they are mentioned again in connection with the Holocaust, according to David Singer, director of research for the American Jewish Committee, which conducted the study.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
