Moroccan authorities have arrested several Jews, charging them with assisting emigration to Israel, S. Z. Shragai, director of the Jewish Agency Immigration department, told a press conference today.

He also reported that current figures on immigration, including newcomers from East Europe, were running ahead even of upward-adjusted estimates.
