Leading rabbis of this city were called into conference today by the governor of Lodz and asked to use their good officers in keeping Jews off the streets of the city during the Corpus Christi procession.
A proclamation asking the Jews to stay off the street was read in all the synagogues of Lodz and in all places where Jews congregate.
