Judicial appointments announced by Mayor Hylan yesterday include Henry M. Goodman, who since 1920 has served as Deputy Assistant District Attorney, to serve out Magistrate Nolan’s term, who was appointed to succeed Justice Collins. Hyman Rayfield, Brooklyn, formerly a clerk in the Magistrate’s Court was appointed a Magistrate to fill the unexpired term of Alexander Geismar, who becomes First Assistant District Attorney of Brooklyn. James J. Golden of Brooklyn will fill the unexpired term of Chas. J. Dood. Herman Doctor, a manufacturer of the Bronx, has bee appointed Second Deputy Secretary of State, succeeding Chas. W. Taft.
