The third anniversary of Israel’s independence was marked here with a number of celebrations during the week. The largest meeting sponsored by the Central Zionist Council, attracted thousands of people many of which remained in the streets outside the meeting hall after it was jammed. They heard the speeches of the featured speakers, Israel Minister Tour and DAIA president Richard Dubroysky over loudspeakers hooked up outside the hall.
