Jews in Canada Joining in World-wide “day of Mourning”

The Rabbinical Council today issued a proclamation calling on the Jewish population to observe Wednesday, December 2 as a day of mourning and fast for victims of Nazi atrocities in German-occupied Europe. It urged special services in the synagogues and a two-minute stoppage of all activities.
