Jews in Chile Present $70,000 Building to House Israel Embassy

A $70,000 building, built by the Santiago Jewish community, was presented yesterday as a gift to the Government of Israel for use as the Israel Embassy here.

The presentation was made to Israel Ambassador Eliezer Doron on the occasion of the visit here of Pinhas Sapir, Israel’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, by Israel Pollak, president of the Zionist Federation of Chile, and Mauricio Litvak, president of Banco Israelita of Chile.
