The new Hungarian Premier, Nicholas von Kallay, today announced that he intends to introduce a bill in parliament next week, speeding up the expropriation of Jewish agricultural land and transferring it to non-Jews.
The Premier made his announcement in the course of an address which he delivered before a meeting of the Government Party. The expropriation of Jewish agricultural possessions has been proceeding in Hungary for some time. “The economic as a community and as individuals are an anti-social element, ” the new Premier said in his address.
