The Jewish population of Wiener Neustadt, the largest industrial town in Lower Austria, has been enduring a systematic terrorization for the past several weeks, it was reported here yesterday.
Houses occupied by Jews and stores of Jews have been stoned night and day and the population reduced to a state where it lives in constant terror.
Although the terrorization has been going on for weeks the police have not as yet arrested anyone responsible for the acts.
The terrorization is confirmed in an official police communique which states that the acts are carried out in accordance with the plans of a political party. The name of the political party is not mentioned, but Jewish circles are confident that the acts against them originate from the Nazis.
