President Lyndon B. Johnson has named Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Irving Hill, former president of the Jewish Federation-Council of Greater Los Angeles and Jewish Free Loan Association, as United States District Court Judge for Southern California. Judge Hill is a board member of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, New York, and a resident of Los Angeles since 1946. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska.
