The 1949 Joint Palestine Appeal campaign today passed the million-pound mark ($4,000,000) with more than 450,000 pounds raised during the past-month alone. The first stage of the campaign was conducted mainly in London. The fund appeals in the provincial centers are only now getting under way. The Angle Jewish community, which numbers about 300,000, is expected to raise 3,000,000 pounds ($12,000,0000).
