Jordan firms dealing with German plants have begun asking that goods exported to Jordan be accompanied by certificates stating that they were not of the type being supplied to Israel as part of German reparations, it was learned here today.

The certificates are required to be countersigned by a representative of an Arab League member state and, in some cases, by a German Chamber of Commerce. German businessmen are not certain of the exact reason for the requests for the certificates.
