Jordan might help Israel in its planned pullout from the Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank. “If this is done in the context of the ‘road map,’ if this is done in coordination with the Palestinians, then this might present an opportunity,” Jordanian Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher said after discussing the Israeli proposals Tuesday with U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell.
