Joseph Eisner, active in Jewish philanthropy and communal activities, died here Sunday night at the age of 57. Mr. Eisner was vice-chairman of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and had served as general chairman of several campaigns of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York.
