Joseph M. Mazer has been elected president of the American Kereth Corporation, it was announced here today. The corporation, a nonprofit body, seeks to help solve the acute housing shortage in Israel and is the sole American representative of Kereth Housing and Mortgage Corp, Ltd., in the Jewish state.
Mr. Mazer has long been active in the United Palestine Appeal, the Jewish National Fund, and the American Friends of the Hebrew University. Other officers of the American Kereth Corporation are Nathaniel S. Rothenberg, vice-president, Hanan R. Yarden, executive vice-president, Abraham Krumbein, treasurer, and Mendel N. Fisher, secretary.
