A dinner in honor of Judge Jacob S. Strahl of the New York Municipal Court, president of the Juden Life Insurance Company was given here last night presided over by Col. Frederick H. Kisch, member of the Jerusalem Zionist Executive.
Among the speakers were Norman Bentwich, Palestine Attorney General, Dr. Thon who spoke on behalf of the Vaad Leumi, National Council of Palestine Jews, and Mr. Merchas for the Jerusalem community.
The name of Judge Strahl was inscribed in the golden book of the Jewish National Fund. Messages were received from the mayor, the chief justice and the governor. It was stated that the Juda has 2300 policy holders in Palestine.
